Lexium 16, Compact housing

The Lexium 16 is a compact and robust motion servo drive with a high performance. The Lexium 16 is suitable for applications requiring high speeds and heavy loads. The integrated motion controller gives the user full control over positioning accuracy, speed and torque of the motor.

The Lexium 16 has a compact housing made of die-cast aluminum with 8 mm thick walls. This ensures that the entire unit is extremely robust and has an excellent heat dissipation capacity. In addition, the housing is sealed against dust and moisture to IP65 degree. All cables are located inside the unit so that they do not interfere with other components or production equipment.

Motion controller with integrated PLC functionality

The Lexium 16 has an integrated motion controller with PLC functionality, which means that it can be programmed using Ladder Diagrams (LD). This makes it easier to program complex motions and sequences of motions without having to use external PLCs or PC software packages.
